My Field of Dreams - By Spencer
My mom is really cool. Yeah, maybe a little crazy, but super cool. This is a panoramic of Tyler out in a random field somewhere in the outskirts of SLO. I'm taking the picture, and nobody else is there. This is what happened: we are lazing around one morning (summer style), Mom is laboring in the kitchen (every day of the year style), and Boom! "Spencer and Tyler! I just had a really cool idea!"
Just like that. Next morning, we hitch a ride with dad on his way to work in San Luis. He drops us off at Laguna Lake for the rest of the day until work ends. That's my mom! So, what would we do all day in San Luis?
GEOCACHING!!!
Then there's San Luis. All those smilies are the ones Tyler and I found that day.
We still had time to squeeze in a few selfies.
Ok, this was a tricky one. This is a picture of the cache. Can you guess where it is?
Ready?
And...
...Boom!
That is totally a favorite.
One geocache took us to the top of a hill, where there was a structure made of rocks. Apparently it's used for meditating.
Our hundreth geocache! It was sort of anticlimactic though, wide out in the open in a plastic bag. Oh well.
Here's another cool one.
Can you guess?
Here comes the hand...
...Whoa!
So cool.
For lunch, we walked to Panera-the best bakery ever.
We shared a tomato-mozzarella panini, a creamy tomato soup, and a french bagguette. Yum!
We kept laughing at this sign-no Bieber! Good thing we wouldn't run into him!
Some of the hills were pretty intense.
For all you people not in California, our lakes are more like mud puddles.
The hikes to some of these are so crazy, the caches get names like "Geezer Wheezer."
And they're very easy. That's because no muggle just goes up for kicks and giggles, and nobody wants to hike all that way to not find any and go back down.
The wildlife there was fantastic; we saw deer, a jackrabbit, a skunk (that one was next to a cache, so we had to steer clear), hawks, lizards, and a bunch of song birds.
Later in the day we walked to Maddona Inn, where we rested until our dad picked us up to go home.

Beautiful ice eggs - by Tyler
I have discovered how to make small, egg-like ice sculptures with objects inside.
All you need is: a water balloon, an object that could fit in the balloon, water, and a freezer. So let's get started!
First, you stuff the object you want into the balloon.
Next, place it in a freezer for a few hours until frozen.
At last, you should have a water balloon made of ice. Take off the covering. All done! You should end up with a beautiful ice egg.
Here are some others we have made:
Lavender.
Other random flower.
Dandylion.
This is an example of a "random object." Now get going on a fun, cold, wet, awesome, craft!

Tyler-Our new family member:Jimmy!
BEST BIRTHDAY PRESENT EVER! Two weeks ago was my birthday, and a present I got from my mom and dad was a box, which contained everything you would need to make a Muppet. A professional one, like a puppet that Jim Henson would make.
This is Jimmy. I'm controlling him in all these pictures, and its hard to operate two sticks,(that are connected to the arms) with one hand.( My other hand would be in the head making him talk.) I was wearing him my whole birthday party with family, that's why he was wearing a mustache. Everyone was. It was actually 3 people's party; Me, my mom, and Jimmy. I made Jimmy on my birthday, so that counts, right?
It was hard for Jimmy to wait till cake time.
I even let him help blow out the candles.
That's him. Starting out from a piece of foam, to a pillow, to a friend.

My Photography + My Brothers' Imagination = This Blog By Spencer
After school a few days ago, my bros and I decided to do a photo shoot. Tyler through Levi would dress up in costumes and I would snap some sweet shots. Alliteration :). Anyhoo, It had just rained so it was perfect lighting, everyone was psyched, and a perfect way to procrastinate on homework was handed to me on a silver platter.
Levi was first with his Captain America/Batman/Barbarian/Pro Soccer Player hybrid.
Let me mention once again that they thought of these costumes, not me.
Epic battle.
Dallin was a medieval hero, I think. Whatever he was, I liked it.
Running into battle.
Throughout the photo shoot, Chloe was our moral support.
She would clap, cheer, etc. All the while eating an otter pop.
She would clap, cheer, etc. All the while eating an otter pop.
Jumping into battle.
Just to prove how manly he was, Dallin landed these with bare feet.
Sneaking through the woods. (A.k.a rose bush.)
Dallin then decided to change costume, and became a neon Gangster. It was quite terrifying.
Need I say more.
Here comes the comic relief of this family and blog.
Tyler loves to get into character, so this was right down his alley.
An alien, Brennan, abducting the farmer, Tyler.
We had to do this at several dramatic angles.
Tyler getting into character, there will be even better yet to come.
Brennan's alien suit.
And now to finish the blog off, Tyler's depiction of the old west.
Another day tending to the 'ol farm.
Everyone knows that farmers sing as they work.
Ride 'em Bronco!
A thrilling gallop.
Tyler the frontiersman, going where no man has gone before.
After a long day on the mountain, he takes a break to stare into the sunset.
Sadly, all good things must come to an end. It started to rain, so I had to run inside before the camera got wet. A perfect end to a perfect day. Time for homework.
